When people buy a pure breed dog, they are usually attracted to that specific breed because it has some special character, behavior and appearance, that they like. Even though a pure breed race has strong character and appearance similarities, no two dogs are exactly the same, just like us humans. Among them is a funny type, a serious type, a shy type, an outgoing type, a quiet type and so on. This breed reminds me a lot of children, they need a lot of attention and affection and when they get that they are blooming. I always take my dogs for long walks, where they can both run free and be in a lease, by doing this my dogs are healthier and happier dogs.

In my opinion a Chihuahua dog is a great family dog that is a good companion going on nice walks and it loves to be kissed and cuddled in the sofa. It is a breed that is excellent to own two or more dogs of. They have endless love and support towards each other. It is an easy race to keep and travel with, because of its small size. In my opinion these dogs are very good with children, but people have to be aware of that the race is small and a young child could easily hurt the dog seriously by dropping it, so a young child and a Chihuahua should always be under supervision.
